LOCAL TAXI RATES, "Majic Meters", and/or "Drunk Meters"

All of our meters are state of the art "Centrodyne" meters and are inspected and sealed by the city of Ann Arbor.

If ever there is a concern about rates in the city of Ann arbor please refer to the following.

Taxicab rates are set by the City of Ann Arbor and are as follows:

• The Flag Drop (when the meter is first turned on) is $3.00
• The Ann Arbor Cab Rate per Mile is $2.25
• Waiting Time is $24.00 per Hour

To get an idea of the cost your trip will be go to  Google Maps or Mapquest to detrmine the distance traveled for your ride with us.

Miles or distance should then be multiplied by $2.25. Dont forget the initial $3.00 that all meters in Ann Arbor have when you first get into the taxi. This is known as the flag drop.

This will give you a good idea of how much your ride will cost but does not account for waiting time or the crazy routes google or mapquest can sometimes send you on.
